Typography Tuesday: Modern No. 20

Modern No. 20 is a pleasantly unusual font - bold yet refined, conservative yet quirky. I love the cheerful tail on some characters (capital R, for example), and the extended serif on others (the capital E crossbar). Best as a display type.

I always feel slightly bittersweet about the new year - the holidays ending, a long winter ahead, yet a general excitement about things to come. And with a new year comes a fresh start and a clean slate. Hello twenty fifteen!
